After a lifetime of serving his country, Bob Dole, a former U.S. senator and presidential candidate, has a final mission: continue to serve his country.
At 94, his service looks a little different these days, but the World War II veteran still has plenty left to give. Every Saturday, Dole suits up and heads to the National World War II Memorial. It’s not a quick and easy journey — just getting dressed takes roughly half an hour, as a nurse helps clothe the veteran’s battered, injured and aging body.

Dole has worn battle scars nearly his entire life after a World War II battle in Italy left him with permanent physical disabilities. His left arm has some function, his right arm and shoulder have none.
[Editor's Comment: I have always admired Bob Dole. What an incredible man and a genuine American hero and a patriot. He has learned the time-honored secret of giving.
One of the most quoted sayings of Jesus is not recorded in the four Gospels. We only learn about it in the Book of Acts from Dr. Luke who wrote the first history of the Church. It is recorded in Acts 20. Paul had invited the Elders of Ephesus to join him in Miletus, about 35 miles from Ephesus to meet him there. He was in a hurry to get to Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost and to celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. Paul was a Pentecostal.
Acts 20:32-38
32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. 34 Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. 35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
36 And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all. 37 Then they all wept freely, and fell on Paul's neck and kissed him, 38 sorrowing most of all for the words which he spoke, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.

Learning to give, and to make it a daily practice is the key to successful living.
