I hope you will read Wesley Russ' message and be touched by the faith of this Godly man and his wife.
I received this sacred and solemn message from Bishop Wesley Russ of the Mid-Atlantic Conference concerning his dear wife, Janice. I am honored to be given the privilege to share his message with so many people who read Hugh's News and know how to pray.
We want our voices to be heard in heaven on behalf of Janice Robinson Russ. God is Sovereign and will always have the final Word. Nothing is impossible for God.
Sometimes it seems that Heaven is silent, but we will continue praying until God answers.
Now, hear the heart of Wesley Russ who dearly loves his wife and has taken excellent care of her in her battle with throat cancer:
"Janice has been placed on Hospice. This is just another step in our faith journey. From the start we’ve known that we are in God’s care—this is such a comfort. God is the Redeemer/Healer and we trust Him in all things and His will shall be done.
"We would like to thank Dr. Morgan for keeping his Hugh’s News family informed and for the many friends who have stormed the Throne of God for our need. God answers prayer and His answer is always best. God’s mercies are new every morning and we expect good things from the Hand of our Father."

Wesley and Janice have been our friends for decades. I am in contact with them almost daily. They are choice servants of the Lord Jesus Christ and have given their best in ministry and service in the churches of the IPHC, and leadership in the Mid-Atlantic Conference where Wesley served as World Missions Director, Assistant Conference Superintendent and then Superintendent.
Janice did the accounting and bookkeeping for the conference for at least 30 years. They are exceptional people who love everybody. Wesley is my best friend in the known world. They have the gift of hospitality and often have people staying in their home in Beltsville, MD. Their love for people of other countries is notable, genuine and real.
I am praying for a creative miracle for Janice. God will make the final decision about that. He sees a bigger picture than I cannot see. I trust His sovereignty and divine purpose for Wesley and Janice Russ.]
