A Couple of Praise Reports:
Yesterday (Saturday), Erica Campbell, Girls Ministry Director for LifePoint Ministries, led an event of training at Christian Life Worship Center (Pastor Brad Cooper) for ladies around the conference. There were 24 ladies present with 7 of our LPM churches represented for this training. Thanks to each of you that encouraged the ladies in your church to attend. I have heard from several that it was an inspiring day of training. I believe that this training will be of great benefit for your church and ladies that attended.
Also yesterday (Saturday) between 45 and 50 people gathered up on the mountain at Mt. Gap to continue the renovation and preparation of the Mt. Gap Camp Ground. It was fun to be around this group of people that represented several of LPM churches, that came together to spend a day working around the campground. It was inspiring to see the work that David (Discipleship Ministries Director) and Hope (Mt. Gap Camp Ground Director) Hammond are doing to lead this conference in this vision of the campground and Discipleship Ministries. If you would like to help with the renovation and reopening of the campground, contact the Hammonds or myself on how you can contribute. Hundreds of youth will be inspired, enriched, and empowered this summer because of you and others that contribute. Thank you for giving.
