Thank you Dr. Hugh Morgan for sharing this article by J. Lee Grady.
LaGrange, Georgia is my hometown, where I spent the first 19 years (almost one-third) of my life. I personally saw the enormous racial division in this small town. I am thankful for spiritual leaders in LaGrange that have been instrumental in helping break down racial and denominational barriers. To God be the glory for what is being accomplishing here, and in other small and medium size towns throughout the state of Georgia.
As I travel the state of Georgia, I see these barriers coming down. Unity like this is what makes LaGrange, and other towns in Georgia, a great place to live and serve.
Thanks again for sharing this insightful and encouraging article. Thank you for being a blessing to all of us.
[Editor's Comment: It has been my privilege to know Bishop Tim Lamb since I moved to Athens, GA in 1986 to become the senior pastor of Tarkenton Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. I have watched his growth as a man of God over all the intervening years. His long tenure as the senior pastor of the Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church coupled with his leadership as the assistant superintendent of our conference have prepared him to be our conference superintendent. He and his wife, Carissa, are doing a great job for this conference as well as the Kingdom of God.]
