The Rev. Dr. James R. Pennington The memorial service for the Rev. Dr. James R. Pennington was held in the River of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church in Oklahoma City on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 2 p. m.
Bishop Chris Thompson reported that he and Betty had attended the memorial service. The service was inspirational and an excellent testimony to a faithful man of God. In the providence of the Lord, Bishops Doug Beacham, General Superintendent of the IPHC, Chris Thompson, Executive Director of Evangelism USA, and Thomas McGhee, Executive Director of Discipleship Ministers were in attendance. Bishop Talmadge Gardner, Executive Director of World Missions Ministries, is in Singapore.
The Rev. Dr. Leroy Baker, retired Superintendent of the Grace Bible Ministries (Texas) Conference, and Bishop Tom Murray, Superintendent of the Golden West Conference did an excellent job. Each of the four children spoke lovingly and powerfully of their father.
