The surgeon was pleased that there he was able to remove her thyroid gland with the two nodules in tact. He saw no trace of any spreading of the unwanted growths.
Thelma is at home recovering and is doing well. She was animated, joyful, and hopeful for a full recovery and return to normalcy in her day to day activities when I talked with her by phone last evening.
