Brother Morgan, I was just looking over some of your posts, and saw the post about Jerry B. Walker.
I will never forget the fire and brimestone preaching that he did at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Jacksonville, Florida. I was only a very young child of about 12-13 years old then, but will never forget Jerry B. as long as I live.
You published an article about a year ago about our 100 Year Celebrations. Bishop Doug Beacham came to Jacksonville for the event. We had Ernie Haase & Signature Sound do a concert that same weekend.

[Editor's Comment: James, I would hope that you remember far more than Jerry B. Walker's fire and brimstone peaching. He did preach about hell and the torments that will be forever and forever for those who fail to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. When he preached on hell, he did it with tears streaming from his eyes and down his face. His passion for lost souls was paramount to his ministry and preaching.
It is apparent that your memory is very limited. He preached the whole counsel of God as did the apostle Paul. His mentor was none other than Kathryn Kuhlman. He was full of love for people and the Holy Spirit used him in prophetic utterances, and there were miracles, signs and wonders that followed his anointed preaching. He was not only anointed by the Holy Spirit, but spoke with the unction of the Holy Spirit.
But oh, how he could preach about heaven and the joys of that eternal city, Jerry B. Walker had a balanced ministry. He spoke on many subjects and knew how to touch people where they struggle and he always offered hope and help in Jesus Christ. His crusades would often last for many weeks. I trust that your 100 Year Celebration was successful. I never got a report on this historic event. It was my pleasure to promote it,
Thank you for reporting on that significant event in your local church in Jacksonville, FL.]
