An Amazing Story about Albert Einstein
Here's a story that you may not have heard. It has spiritual significance.
Once when Albert Einstein was traveling by train from Princeton when the conductor came along came down the aisle, punching the tickets of every passenger, the great scientist had to admit he’d lost his. “I know who you are,” said the conductor, “we all know who you are. I’m sure you bought a ticket. Don’t worry about it.”
The conductor continued down the aisle punching tickets. As he was ready to move to the next car, he turned around and saw the great scientist down on his hands and knees looking under his seat for his ticket.
The conductor rushed back and said, “Don’t worry, I know who you are. No problem. You don’t need a ticket. I’m sure you bought one.”
The great scientist looked at him and said, “Young man, I too, know who I am. What I don’t know is where I’m going.”
The question comes to all of us. Do you and I know where we are going when we die? There are only two places a person can go at that moment--either heaven or hell.
Hear what the Bible has to say about heaven:
John 14:1-6
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know."
5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
