It's nice to receive affirmations, compliments, and inspiring notes from my readers of Hugh's News. Everyone is important and very special to me. The email that was sent to me on Thursday lifted my spirit and bolstered my faith.
On Thursday morning I received an email from a noted pastor and church leader in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. I have known him for decades. He was one of two of my Southwestern College Board of Trustees who always sent me a "thank you" card with a note of appreciation after our board meetings. He has always had that special touch and his actions reveal the heart of a genuine pastor and leader of people. I have always admired this man, and from time to time, I have sought his advice and wise counsel.
His name is Dan Beller. He was the senior pastor at Evangelistic Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years. He is a writer and an author. He serves on David Yungi Cho's Board of Directors (formerly known as Paul Yungi Cho). David Cho is a Korean Pentecostal minister. He is Senior Pastor and founder of the Yoido Full Gospel Church.
Here is Dan Beller's word of encouragement to me:
"Hugh & Melvine, happy birthday to both of you on December 15 & 16 and thanks so much for all the sacrificial work you have been doing
through the years in publishing Hugh’s News! You are bringing many blessings to all of us in the IPHC and beyond. May God continue
His divine blessings upon you and please know that our love and prayers are with you. Dan & Marie Beller."
