Our Maytag Washing Machine had a faulty control panel. In fact, it went out completely. I had purchased it in November of 2019 at Home Depot in Bethlehem in Barrow County, Georgia.
A local appliance repair company sent a technician to evaluate it. What initially appeared to be a faulty sensor turned out to be the entire control panel. They had to order the unit. Finally, it came in on Wednesday and the tech changed out the old one and installed the new one on Thursday, February 25.
Fortunately, Whirlpool paid for the part, labor, etc. Our caregiver washed two large loads of clothes, dried and folded them. Until we were able to get the washing machine up and running, Bonnie Bender and her daughter, Sunshine Lane, washed dried, and folded the clothes and returned them to our home. It's nice to have good friends who are ready to lend a helping hand. The Apostle Paul writes about Christians reaching out to serve others in time of need. I am grateful for the church and the friends we have in several churches who have helped us.
Thank God I did not have to pay any money to get the washing machine repaired. What a blessing that was. I stopped to lift up my hands in thanksgiving and praise for the favor God showed us. I tip my hat to the lady at Whirlpool for being to gracious and kind to me. I did share with her the Benediction Billy Graham wrote sometime before died.
Here is that benediction:
