Dear Holmes Family,
Christmas greetings from the campus of Holmes Bible College.
Christmas is the most wonderful season of the year. Alexander Smith said, "Christmas is the day that holds all time together." It's a wonderful season of the year at Holmes.
The Christmas Trees lighting the administration building, the lighting of the Advent candles in the chapel services, the singing of Christmas carols all contribute to the Christmas spirit.
"Christ the Savior is born." God's love is manifested in the giving of His Son to be our Savior. This is the heart of the Christmas story.
The students have returned home to celebrate Christmas with their families. As I write, many memories flood my mind as I remember those Christmases at Holmes back in the fifties and the sixties.
The Lord has graciously blessed the college this year. Your prayers and financial support are crucial for the equipping of men and women for the ministry in the Kingdom. We are deeply appreciative. The "Good Hand" of the Lord is upon this institution, and we rejoice in Jehovah-Jireh.
The faculty and staff join me in this expression of gratitude and pray for you and your family a most joyous Christmas season.
"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace and goodwill to all men."
Grace and peace,
