1 Corinthians 2:6-10
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love Him"--
10 but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit.
NIV
[Editor's Comment: The wisdom of God is shown clearly in the Cross of Calvary where Jesus died for the sins of the world. In the Book of Hebrews the 13th chapter, Paul tells us about God the Father raising our Lord Jesus from the dead, that Great Shepherd of the Sheep through the blood of he everlasting covenant. Read the entire benediction below in Paul's letter to the Hebrews:
Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace Who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
NKJV
Your local church has been supernaturally positioned where it is today so your pastor and the congregation of Spirit-empowered believers may share this wisdom to the neighborhood where you live. John. the writer of the Gospel of John tells us that "The Word was made flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood" (John 1:14, The Message, Eugene H. Peterson).
It's time for the church to move into the neighborhood with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
