How is it going with you in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others?
Are you using the blessing or benediction that was written by Billy Graham?
Here is how it reads:
"May your troubles be less, your blessings more; and may nothing but joy, peace, and happiness come to our door.
"Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil, it has no point" (Billy Graham).
I use this blessing daily with everyone I meet. I ask if I may share with them a blessing or a benediction that was written by Billy Graham? Thus far, no one has said, "No." When I use the telephone, I share it there, too.
It has touched everyone who will listen to what I am telling them from memory. Often, tears come to their eyes. Then, I know God is at work in their lives.
Today, I shared it with the manager of a Waffle House on our way back from Franklin Springs where we had our teeth cleaned. She recognized it was for her, and she declared that was for me, I needed it. As I was leaving with my walker, she ran to open the two doors for me.
I took the time to say, "Thank you for helping me." Then, I continued by telling her that she will go a long way in life as she thinks of others and helps them." I said, "You are not here at this Waffle House by accident. God has given you this position. You are here by Divine Appointment. Thank God often for what He has done in giving you favor." I continued by saying, "You are a servant leader, and by your example of love and compassion in caring for others, many will catch your spirit and that will be a blessing to them and to you."
My life now is to share the Gospel. I wake up thinking about how and where I will be given opportunity to share the Gospel with others.
Let me hear from you. Write me at: hugh@hughsnews.com
I eagerly await to hear your experience and what God is doing in your life and ministry as a witness for Christ.
