Mr. Joey Leggett, CEO of Falcon Children's Home, and Reagan Gurley meet at Falcon, NC at Harvest Train in 2016. It is a meeting Reagan will never forget, and what's more she is being made aware of the church's ministry to children without a home or parents.
Little girls grow up to be tweens and teenagers. A tween is a youngster between 10 and 12 years of age, considered too old to be a child and too young to be a teenager.
What a grand and glorious meeting it was on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, when nine-year-old Reagan Gurley had her picture made with the CEO of Falcon Children's Home in Falcon, NC.
This was the third year that Reagan's parents brought her to Harvest Train from Athens, GA. They represented Christian Life Worship Center in Athens, GA, a Pentecostal Holiness Church in the LifePoint Ministries Conference (Georgia Conference).

Shakeenah Gurley, Reagan's mom, is one of the most creative and innovated ladies you will ever meet. The idea, no doubt a God-Idea, was this: She purchased a large baby bottle and Reagan would walk around in the church sanctuary prior to the worship service soliciting money, large or small, from the people of our congregation for Falcon Children's Home, as well as after the service.
Their goal was $1,000 Falcon Children's Home. They exceeded that goal by $230.79 for a total of $1,230.79. In addition, they carried a modest amount of commodities.
I know the people who gathered at the Culbreth Memorial Auditorium were delighted to see this nine-year-old girl who raised that kind of money.
Russell Gurley is the father of Reagan and is a member of our church council. He is a builder, contractor and a master carpenter. He does excellent work. He is a gifted teacher, and is teaching Reagan to love and study the Bible.
Russell and Sakeenah invited Scott and Kathy Bray from our church to go with them. What a wonderful way to enlist and educate others about Falcon Children's Home.

Reagan, now 10-years-old and is a fifth grader at Athens Christian School, one of the best Christian schools in our state or in our country. Reagan is a model student and makes top grades. Melvine and I serve as her adopted grand parents and we attend her school on the morning each year when they have grandparents day.
It is our prayer that Reagan and her mother, Sakeenah, with the support of her father, Russell, will raise the goal of $1,000 and more. We will all rejoice when they achieve their realistic goal.

Here is another photo that was taken recently of Reagan at her school when she dressed as Marie Antoinette at her school's Wax Museum for 5th grades. You can easily see what an adorable 5th grader Reagan is. We all love her.
Shakeenah, Reagan's mother purchased this beautiful dress, and added the extra material to give it an addition regal look for that time and age.
Reagan is a naturally born dancer. When she and her parents started coming to Christian Life Worship Center Reagan would dance gracefully as we sang praises to our God. I am convinced that Reagan was expressing her love and adoration for Jesus as she danced. What a lovely expression of Reagan's worship.
