Sunday Worship Services at Mulberry Grove Senior Living This Sunday, May 5, 2024, Pastor Wayne Butler and Pastor Hugh Morgan will lead a worship service for the residents at Mulberry Grove Senior Living in Statham, Georgia, at 3 p. m. June Butler, wife of Wayne Butler, serves as our church administrator.
Pastor Morgan will be preaching. His Scriptural text is recorded in Jude 11. His sermon title is "The Way of Cain." Cain believed in God, but rejected a blood sacrifice for man's redemption. Jesus said there is only one way to God . . . and He is the Son of God Who took upon Himself the sins of the world as the perfect Lamb of God. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6, NIV).
Pastor Butler will lead the singing and sing a solo. Wayne has a beautiful tenor voice that is natural and uplifting. People love to hear him sing.
We are grateful for this opportunity God has given to us.
Sara Lynn Holbert has a new assignment since her husband's younger brother died a week or so ago. Therefore, Sara Lynn will no longer be able to play the piano for our worship services.

June Butler went to work to get transportation for Greg Morgan, my son, to play the piano for us this Sunday. Jeanette Herndon Phillips will pick Greg up and bring him to Mulberry Grove Senior Living for our worship service. We are grateful to God for providing Greg to play the piano for the singing of the hymns and Gospel songs we want to sing this Sunday.
One of the needs we have here at Mulberry Grove Senior Living is the recruiting and hiring of a well-educated and trained staff to fill the positions that are currently vacant. We believe God can provide for this need.
Your prayers for us as we minister to these dear people are needed and welcomed. There may be some who have never been born again. When you pray you are investing in the Kingdom of God. We believe in the power of prayer, and the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
