Nahum 1:7
7 The LORD is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him.
NKJV
[Editor's Comment: This Scripture verse from the tiny Book of Nahum, one of the Minor Prophets, was the life verse for Anna Hayford, the wife of Jack Hayford. What a comfort this special Word in the Holy Bible is to all who name the Name of Jesus and have received Him as Savior and Lord.
I love what the Apostle Paul wrote in his prologue to the Gospel of John. Here is what he wrote:
John 1:10-13
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. 11 He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. 12 Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
NIV
I trust you will take the time to memorize this benediction recorded in Nahum 1:7. Jesus will be a stronghold for you in the day of trouble, too.]
