Mark 11:22-25
22 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. 23 "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
NIV
[Editor's comment: Jesus was telling His disciples that they were to place their faith in God. He is revealing mountain moving faith. Love is the key and makes it all happen. As we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit we learn how to ask God for what we need, and He gives us the ability to receive what we have believed before it happens. Jesus says if we do . . . it will be ours.
But there is much more to this act of faith and it is making room for an atmosphere or culture of forgiveness. When we stand praying and hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you of your sins.
Over the years of my walk with the Lord, I have had to forgive others, and I have had to ask for forgiveness for the offenses I have caused others. It seems like an endless process. It is a good thing to keep short accounts with God.
What do you need from the Lord? Here's where you can begin the process of receiving the answer you desire from God Who gives good gifts to His children.]
