19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:
20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
[Editor's comment: The Christian Church has been globally minded since the beginning of the church. Jesus gave us our marching orders and we are to make disciples of all nations. Our Lord commanded us to baptize converts in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. As Pentecostal Holiness members we are Trinitarian.
Jesus put the "glow" and "go" into the word "global." "And He (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to the whole creation. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned" (Mark 16:15, ASV).
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8, NKJV).
We are to reach:
"The uttermost part of the earth."
This is mission of the church given to the church by Jesus Christ Himself.
Is your local church carrying out this mission? If not why not?
