Micah 6:8
8 He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
NIV
Psalm 23:6
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever.
NKJV
[Editor's Comment: How can we fulfill the requirements of God? When I was in college, seminary, and post graduate schools, the first thing I wanted to know at the beginning of any class of study was what the requirements were. I wanted to know what my professor expected and I sought to do that from the get-go. Then, I determined what I wanted to learn for myself. I found that approach worked well for me.
God wants you and me to do justly--do what is right because it right to do; to love mercy by extending mercy to my brother or sister, and to walk humbly before God by abiding in Him and recognizing that all I have or ever shall have belongs to God.
God has always provided for my needs. Life goes better when I tithe on the income He helps me to earn, give offerings above that to world missions, evangelism, to needy people, humanitarian causes, etc. I have found in the giving that I find fulfillment and joy.
What about you?]
