Mark 11:25-26
"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."
NKJV
[Editor's comment: To be like Jesus we must endeavor to follow and live by His teachings and commands. Jesus taught the importance of forgiving others. A spirit of unforgiveness can destroy us. It can affect our physical and spiritual health. If not dealt with, it can lead to bitterness that will bring many things we do not want. Bitterness is like drinking poison.
Jesus died as He lived. His first saying from the cross was "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34, KJV). The Christ Who lives within us will compel us to forgive. Let's forgive and discover the peace that can come when we've done our part to offer forgiveness to those who ask, and to confess our sins that we've have committed against another person and ask for his forgiveness.]
