It is this editor's opinion that the preaching of the Gospel by Archbishop Michael Curry from the United States at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will never be forgotten. Archbishop boldly and with great passion delivered his soul at the Royal Wedding. I have watched it several times.
Every young man and woman desiring to preach and become pastors need to study this sermon. It is my belief that God Almighty gave moral courage to Archbishop Curry to deliver such a message. I could tell that Prince Harry and Meghan drank it in, and received it with joy and laughter as something real and what they want in their marriage.
I guess you could entitle Curry's message "When Love Is the Way."
He made the Spiritual "There is a Balm in Gilead" take on new meaning for us all. And that is the hymn or spiritual for today. I love it.

[Episcopal News Service – Windsor, U.K.] Two videos and the full text of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s sermon at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle follow. The first video is the official broadcast from the BBC and the second was recorded on one of the large public screens stationed along the procession route in Windsor, where 150,000 well-wishers thronged the streets.
And now, the lyrics of "There is a Balm in Gilead." That Balm is Jesus.
There is a balm in Gilead
to make the wounded whole,
there is a balm in Gilead
to heal the sin-sick soul.
Sometimes I feel discouraged
and think my work's in vain,
but then the Holy Spirit revives my soul again.
Refrain
2 If you cannot preach like Peter,
if you cannot pray like Paul,
you can tell the love of Jesus
and say, "He died for all."
Refrain Psalter Hymnal, (Gray), 1987
