Two Peas in a Pod
The idiom two peas in a pod is something I have heard all my life. I am sure you have heard it too.
I will be 89 years old on December 15, 2021. It is interesting that my good friend, Malcolm Herndon will be 89 years old exactly 15 days after my birthday which is December 30, 2021. So, Malcolm and I are two peas in a pod. In our case, we are similar because of the closeness of our date of birth, but separated by some 400 miles when we were born.
We were both born in 1932.
Malcolm Herndon was born at home in Swansonville, Virginia. Those were the days when doctors made house calls. Their family doctor came to their home and delivered Malcolm.
Hugh H. Morgan was born in Hillman Hospital, a charity hospital, in Birmingham, Alabama.
