During my hospital stay for 11 days, and 9 days in a Re Hab Center God spoke in my spirit what theme I am to share with you for this year 2018.
The theme is "Abundant Living in Jesus Christ in 2018."
The Scripture reference is recorded in John 10:10 from the Words of Jesus.
John 10:10
The thief (Satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life (Eternal Life), and that they may have it more abundantly.
NKJV
John 10:10
10 A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

This is the life I want to experience in my intimate relationship with God this year. And I believe this is exactly what you desire for your walk with Christ this year.
It will require a life of holiness or heart purity. That is a supernatural work of God's grace in our heart. The Bible calls it sanctification.
Hear the words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Thessalonians:
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.
NKJV
God said, 1 Peter 1:13-16
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."
NKJV
As we move along together the Holy Spirit will help me flesh this theme out in meaningful ways.
If you have stories of what God has done in your heart to grant you heart purity and holiness of daily living, I would really like to get them from you. You can be a great help to me the editor of Hugh's News, and to our subscribers and readers.
