Please be in prayer for the McKellar family on the passing of Rev. Don McKellar, an ordained minister of Spirit Life Ministries. We will send out the funeral arrangements as soon as we receive them.
[Editor's comment: Don McKellar was a friend of mine. I met him when I was student at Holmes Bible College. Don was several years younger than me. I had attended Emmanuel College for one year prior to my enlistment in the United States Marine Corps and was a student at Asbury College (now Asbury University) for one year. I remember Don working on the paint crew at Holmes. He as a master painter.
Years later, he was the pastor of the Draper Pentecostal Holiness in Eden, NC, Melvine's home church. While there he led the congregation in the building of a lovely brick parsonage. He was a builder, and was loved by the congregation.
Don has suffered for several years having to be hospitalized numerous times at Duke University Hospital.
I am a blessed man by having to know Don McKellar. We send our love and condolences to his wife, Yvonne, and family.]
