Pastor David Richardson, Sr. has passed from this life to a far more exceeding and glorious eternal home prepared for him by our Lord Jesus Christ. His days of intense suffering are over. He is now at rest from all his labors and in his death his ministry and work will long be remembered.
The following is the information that I have received at this writing:
Mckenzie Funeral Home confirmed that Family Viewing will be Tuesday, September 13, from 6 to 8 p. m. at Holy Trinity Church in Andrews, SC.
The Funeral will be at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church on Wednesday, September 14, at 2 p. m. The addresses for these two churches are:
Holy Trinity PH Church 11407 Gapway Road, Andrews SC 29510
Barrineau PH Church, 3709 St James Road, Lake City, SC 29560
[Editor's Comment: David Richardson, Sr. was a prince of pastors, a gifted preacher, and a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. I want to thank Dr. Mike Stewart, former President of Emmanuel College, for sending me the news of the death of Brother David Richardson, Sr. early Saturday morning. And I want to thank George Chassevent, a brother-in-law to David, for the arrangements for the visitation and the funeral service.
David was a close friend of the late Rev. Mr. John Swails. In fact, David was one of the speakers at John's memorial service at the John W. Swails Convention Center on the campus of Emmanuel College.
Our hearts are deeply moved by the death of David Richardson, Sr. and we extend our condolences and prayers to the family.]
