The finish line is now in clear view . . . We need only $270 to reach our goal for August
We want to give praise to God and thanks to those who have given thus far in our summer drive to break the summer slump in contributions to Hugh's News, Inc.
You have helped us to raise more than $1,000 to make up the deficit for the month of July. We are now only $270 away from meeting the $1,000 budget for the month of August. Three hundred dollars ($300) came in the mail on Saturday, August 26. And, $50 was received by credit card Tuesday, August 29. from Missionary Vijay Balla whose birthday is in August.
On Wednesday, August 30, my good friend Malcolm Herndon sent $50 to Hugh's News, Inc. in a check. He wanted his gift to recognize and honor Ken and Jeanette Herndon Phillips for their faithfulness to their local church in Athens, Christian Life Worship Center, for many years. Ken and Jeanette give and give again of their resources not only of money but in their ministry to the people of the church, and work that needs to be done, but also to the community. So, we salute Ken and Jeanette Phillips.
There is only one more day left in August to receive the $270, and that day is today. You can help us reach this attainable goal to give glory to God for His abundant supply in providing for the financial needs of Hugh's News, Inc.
If you are being blessed by receiving Hugh's News & Commentary, may I encourage you to give today.
Your contribution is needed, wanted, and greatly appreciated. I believe God will help us raise this money during the last two days of August.
God has never failed this ministry for 20 years. Now that is a miracle. I believe in miracles. I have seen and experienced them.
