SPARTA, GA -- The Emmanuel College clay target team traveled to Old Hudson Plantation and won 1st place in the collegiate division.
The team was led by Sophomore Colton Evans taking 1st in sporting clays 92/100 and 1st in skeet 50/50. Freshman Reese Duffell took 1st in 5- stand. Senior Evan Milford took 2nd in sporting clays 90/100 and 5-stand and also 3rd in skeet 48/50. Freshman Wyatt Hargrove finished 2nd in skeet 48/50 and Senior Mark Beardsley finished 3rd in sporting clays 88/100. The team also had a strong showing from Austin Cosper and Austin Dyer on the skeet field, both finishing with 47/50.
Next up for the Lions is the SCTP National Championship in Ohio in 2 weeks.
