The worship team and musicians led in a powerful worship service. Bishop James D. Leggett, former General Superintendent of the IPHC installed the new resident Executive Council of Bishops. He gave the charge first of all to Bishop Doug Beacham and then to Bishop Thomas McGhee, the new Vice Chairman of the IPHC. Then, he gave the charge to Bishop Talmadge Gardner and then to Bishop Garry Bryant.
A choir from one of the large churches in Florida, sang two powerful songs that lifted the congregation.
Bishop Doug Beacham preached a powerful sermon based on the Sower and the seed.
He had a fiber glass square cylinder that was used to demonstrate Beacham's message and leaders brought dirt or soil from their state or country. It was an objects lesson none of us will ever forget.
We were challenged to evangelize and plant churches.
