In an e-mail late Friday night from Bishop Wesley Russ, he shared with me that Friday was not a good day for Janice.
She has fallen. Her legs gave out on her. She has asked Wesley to help her walk when she needs to go to the bathroom, etc.
Melvine had come to our Florida Room where I do Hugh's News when Wesley's e-mail came through. We immediately went to prayer and cried out to God for His intervention for Janice. She is our precious sister in Christ. I have known Janice since 1952 when I was a freshman at Emmanuel College. Janice was in high school. Her father, Robert Robinson was the superintendent of the Advocate Press. Later they moved back to Washington, DC, where I was privileged to meet up with Janice and her family at the National Pentecostal Holiness Church. I was a young Marine stationed at Quantico Marine Base, thirty-three miles from the church.
We believe Janice's life in this hour of great need is under the supervision of the sovereignty of God. Our prayer is for the Will of God for Janice and that both she and Wesley will be able to experience the unfathomable goodness and mercy of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ, and the unlimited grace He extends to us in our sickness.
Will you join Melvine and countless hundreds of my readers in prayer for Janice Robinson Russ as well as Wesley? Let our voices be heard in heaven for Janice Russ.
