WINONA LAKE, IN — Southwestern Christian University booked its spot to the NCCAA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship title game with a 67-61 victory over Central Christian (Kansas) Thursday at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.
The top-seeded Eagles (20-14) will makes their second championship-game appearance in the last three seasons.
SCU will face a familiar challenger in the championship game in second-seeded Emmanuel (Georgia). The Eagles and Lions met in the title game two years ago with Emmanuel prevailing 75-68.
The championship game will take place at 4 p.m. CDT Saturday, March 17, at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.
