Bethelgram, Lukaiya, Belatand, Madhupur, Jayantigram, and Bundu, what do all these places have in common? They are sowing seeds of faith in women around the community as well as teaching women how to sew for the betterment and economic growth of their communities. The churches in these places have been focusing on how to improve the lives of individuals while strengthening their relationship with the local communities.
SUCCESS OF PROGRAM: “In these first ten days of running these centers, our eyes were opened. We are seeing people who were not ready to come in the church building, gladly coming in for training and participating in prayer and study of The Word. This has created a huge opportunity for us”. - Bishop Michael John
URGENT NEED: The success of the tailoring programs have developed a need to purchase new sewing machines. Currently, they are in need of 100 sewing machines, the cost of one machine is $150 (USD). They also are looking to pay remuneration of $20 (USD) a month to church volunteers teaching women how to sew.

“Meet Sumati Kisku, she is pictured wearing the yellow dress. She lives next to the church in Lukaiya but despite all efforts to build a relationship and invite her to church, she would never come. When they launched the project, she gladly agreed to be the trainer”.
