Everyday should be a good day for those who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Regardless of our feelings, circumstances, or even health issues we serve a faithful and loving God Who cares for us.
We rejoice when we awaken in the morning and thank God for a new day to serve and worship Him.
[At the bottom of this article is a photo of Melvine with the various IV bags she had to receive. It took several hours to accomplish.]
Melvine got up before Greg and I got up. She was up and had fixed a cup of coffee and was sitting in the Florida Room having her morning devotions. The sun was shining for the first time in several days as we were blessed with rain, rain, and more rain. The water table needs it, and we need the rain and the wind to blow the colorful leaves to the ground to be raked up or vacuumed or pulverized by the blades of lawnmowers.
I had to call in a medication for Melvine at our pharmacy in Winder and go pick it up that Melvine needs twice a day to keep her heart in the right rhythm. I keep a close eye out for her medications.
Greg drove to McDonald's in Winder to get sausage, egg and cheese McMuffins and hashbrowns for our breakfast. Greg made me a cup of coffee. Greg really takes care of us when he comes home on the weekends. He went to Wall Mart and purchased our groceries, and filled my car with gas as a new Texaco Service Station, taken over from Exxon, for $2.39 a gallon.
We watched Alabama play Mississippi State. Actually, we watched it earlier in the afternoon. Of course Alabama won 24 to 0.
We watched the Saturday morning Georgia Football Show about the game today with Auburn. By the way, we beat Auburn 27 to 10. It could have been 30 to 10, but our offensive coordinator came up with a trip play where our field goal kicker threw a pass that was over thrown in the end zone. Such is football.
We ordered Pizza for supper during the half time of the Georgia/Auburn football game that was played in Athens at Sanford Stadium between the hedges on the campus of the University of Georgia.
