It was the fall of 1983. We moved to Appleton, Wisconsin from Des moines, Iowa, and we were looking for a new church home. We visited First Assembly of God. The church was packed, and we were seated in chairs put in the aisles right up in front because of the overflow.
Rev. Jerry Walker began preaching and then he stopped and said, “there’s someone here who has suffered with a painful jaw problem for 10 year. God is healing that right now.” It was me because I had sought help for my painful TMJ for 10 years. I moved my jaw back and forth and the pain was gone. It was put back in place and the pain has never returned.
I never went up to tell him because of the crowds, and he had just continued on with his sermon. I thank God for His mighty healing power working through this committed Christian man.

[Editor's comment: Jerry B. Walker was one of the greatest Pentecostal/Charismatic evangelist in the 20th Century. He died and went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2006.]
