My Melvine Stewart Morgan is the joy of my life. I want her to be happy, have fun, laugh a lot, and share her joy and peace with those she meets.
Tuesday was a lazy day with cold rain and the feeling of winter once again.
Melvine got up a little before 8 o'clock, prepared her coffee, read in her Bible, thanked God for His many years of blessing our lives with good things. She ate a bowl of cereal.
Melvine is excited about getting her La Z Boy recliner next Monday.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a telephone call from Jackie Hersh who resides in Tempe, Arizona. She was a big source of encouragement for Melvine. She told me that her husband had given her a La Z Boy when she had her first total knee surgery. She told me that her husband told her repeatedly that he wanted nothing but the best for her.
Jackie went on to say that Melvine will love the La Z Boy and it will be hers to enjoy.
I know Melvine will be much more comfortable with the La Z boy recliner. Jackie prayed over the phone for Melvine's announcement for prayer. Melvine is a strong woman and is always hopeful that she will be free of cancer.
We will get Melvine's La Z Boy next Monday. That is the earliest date to get it.
Melvine has gone to bed. I gave her the pill prescribed by her doctor for sleeping. It worked beautifully the night before.
For all of God's blessings and favor, we lift our hands in praise, adoration, and gratitude.
May God's blessings be multiplied in your spiritual, personal relationships, financial challenges from this day forward for God's glory and honor.
Your friend in all seasons,
Hugh H. Morgan
