Melvine was back to normal today, Saturday. Greg and I left her at home while we attended the Men's Ministries monthly breakfast. Dylan Sosbee, our guest speaker, is a senior at the University of Georgia, who has volunteered for several years to work with the homeless in Athens. He has made a lot of friends in that particular society and they have found him to be trust worthy. Dylan's presentation and answering questions was one of the very best programs we have had. Ken Phillips always has a good program and a top-notch speaker. Dylan has a bright future as He allows the Holy Spirit and Word of God, the Bible to guide his life into all truth.
Jeanette Phillips, who taught Dylan Sosbee, in high school in math attended to hear one of her former students. Jeanette added immeasurably to the discussion that followed Dylan's oral presentation.
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our church on Easter Sunday morning if you have no church home.
Melvine is looking forward to going to church on Easter Sunday. That is one of the high holy days of the church. We want to be there to worship Jesus Christ Who has risen from the dead, and defeated death, sin, hell, and the devil and won the battle and has provided salvation and eternal life for all who will believe in Jesus.
And of course, we want to be with the people of God who love Jesus and have given their hearts and lives to Him.
Have a blessed Easter Sunday 2019.
