The Morgan family was blessed to have visitors, special guests in our home on Saturday, July 20.
Jodi Butler Eason, the daughter of the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Butler (June), called early on Saturday morning to find out if a visit from her and her husband, Marcus, and daughter Maddie Morgan, named after our Stephanie, could bring our lunch from Chic fil A and visit with us. We were all delighted and Melvine was excited to see them and especially Maddie Morgan, our adopted and chosen granddaughter. They arrived at 1 p. m. and we ate our lunch in our formal dining room.
Maddie Morgan bought us a beautiful colored picture of an unicorn she had done. She is neat, colors within the lines, and uses various strokes in coloring that reveals her artistic abilities. She is five years old and will be attending kindergarten next month. Now, you and I know that is too early to start to school. I never attended a kindergarten when I was Maddie's age. She loves school and is an honor student for sure.
Jodi had Christian children's music on her cell phone, and Maddie Morgan sings along with the singers and is getting the Word of God planted in her mind and heart. She loves to sing.
