Mary Hiser Wood September 3, 1918 - December 4, 2016
Mary Hiser Wood, 98, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Mr. Harry E. Wood; and two sisters, Marie H. Grove and Mabel H. Waymack. She was a past member of Bellwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, where her husband was the pastor, and attended other churches after his death including First Pentecostal Holiness Church and The Ray of Hope Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Robert W. Grove (Diana) and a niece, Brenda Larkin (Ted).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
