March For Life had more than 100,000 marchers
Washington, D.C. – It has been 49 years since Roe v. Wade was issued leading to the death of 63.5 million children, making abortion the leading cause of death in America.
The March for Life has occurred every year since 1974 in late January surrounding the anniversary of the Court’s decision in Roe. But this day is not only remembered during the March for Life - but every day - in the quiet, daily work of those passionately working to protect human life. Day after day, year after year, Live Action and other partners proudly fight to prevent more lives from being lost to this injustice.
“After 49 long years of Supreme Court-inflicted trauma, we are experiencing the final days of this Court mandated killing. The death toll in our nation from abortion reached 63.5 million in 2021–that’s 63.5 million unique voices, forever silenced. We must put an end to this atrocity,” said Founder and President of Live Action, Lila Rose.

On Friday night, January 20, IPHC people gathered at Maranatha Fellowship (IPHC) in College Park, MD for a special service in preparation for the annual march. Because of the Covid-19 Virus the Bikers were not present and many others who normally attend every year. Bishop Able Palomo's congregation was well represented. Bishop Palomo is the superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic Conference. Bishop Doug Beacham was the featured speaker.
My good friend Bishop Wesley Russ, the former superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic Conference was present for the service. He gave a good report. He said that Bishop Doug Beacham, general superintendent of the International Pentecostal Holiness was present and delivered a powerful message entitled "Two Principles in the World." They are "The Law of Sin and Death," and "The Law of Life through Jesus Christ our Lord" as recorded in Romans 8:1, 2.
Let me quote them for you to read:
Rom 8:1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
NKJV
Since Doug Beacham was elected to be our Presiding Bishop and General Superintendent he has not missed any of the March for Life Rallies in Washington, D. C. I commend him for his commitment, faithfulness. and loyalty to this annual march. What a record. May God richly bless our bishop.
