I believe that 2017 will be the greatest year of our lifetime. I sense that God is up to something special in the lives of His people and those who will become His people through the New Birth.
I fully expect to experience a creative miracle in my own body, and I pray that God will give a creative miracle for all those who need such a miracle and are believing and expecting God to perform such a miracle in their bodies.
I think of two persons who really need a creative miracle. They are:
1. Janice Robinson Russ, Beltsville, MD, near College Park, MD.
Janice has a CAT Scan last Saturday. She was able to negotiate it well. Later this week her doctor will call her and give her the results. I am believing that this scan will reveal no vestige of cancer in the body of Janice. She has been on a feeding tube now for over a year. She will need to learn how to swallow again. God can take care of all of this in flash, even the twinkling of the eye. She is God's precious child and has served God with all her heart all of her life. She is highly intelligent. She types without error. She is Mrs. Spell Check, and the Doctor of English. She plays the piano and organ beautifully. She is the faithful and loyal wife of Bishop Wesley Russ. They have served in leadership in the Mid-Atlantic Conference for several decades. Wesley pastored the College Park Pentecostal Holiness Church called Maranatha Church for more than 24 years.
2. Bishop Wesley Potter, Conroe, Texas. He is married to Peggie Flowers Potter. Wesley is in great need for a creative miracle. I am told he has dementia. He has sore on his back and on his heel that needs healing. In recent days he has been able to speak sentences that are coherent. Wesley is a dynamic leader with a myriad of talents. He pastored the Baltimore Church for many years. It is called Kingsway Christian Center. He also served as the Superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic Conference at the same time.
He is in a special hospital in Conroe, Texas, near where Wesley and Peggie have a small home. Peggie told me Sunday she wants to sell their home and move in with Jana, their daughter who resides with her husband in the Woodlands, Texas.
Let us make our voices heard in heaven on behalf of these two godly people who love Jesus. There is no limit to what God can do in answer to our concert of prayer of people all over the world in more than 22 countries.
I am expecting a miracle for these our dear friends. God still specializes in things thought impossible and He can do for them and us what no other power can do. Jesus is the Healer, and He is the same today as He always has been. Nothing is too big for God.
