Listen as The Hastings College Choir sings this beautiful hymn by Clicking Here.
I sang in the Seminary Singers when I was a student at Asbury Theological Seminary, an all male choir. We sang this hymn
a cappella and it touched lives every where we sang it. I remember singing at the Frog Restaurant in Waycross, GA. Grown men who were drinking at the bar wept as we sang. The power of the words and the anointing of the Holy Spirit touched their hearts. I am deeply moved as I hear this choir sing this great hymn. I hope you will be deeply touched by Jesus and feel His love for you.
May I urge you to make room for the Presence of Jesus Christ in your daily life. That is my desire to make Christ preeminent in my life.
1. Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul's glory, joy, and crown.
2. Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
robed in the blooming garb of spring:
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.
3. Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight,
and all the twinkling starry host:
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
than all the angels heaven can boast.
4. Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
now and forevermore be thine.
