In John's prologue of the Gospel of John, he wrote, "And the Word (Jesus Christ) became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood" (John 1:14).
Something supernatural occurs when we give our hearts and lives to Jesus. There is placed inside of us a great desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Let's read again that Great Commission that Jesus gave His disciples:
Matthew 28:16-20 New International Version (NIV) -- The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Where do you fit into this commandment of our Lord?
Jesus would remind us today that the harvest of souls is great, but the laborers are few. We are to pray to the Lord of the Harvest that He would send laborers into the harvest field. We should be willing to respond by saying, "Send me."
Hugh's News is an instrument God is using to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to reap the harvest in these end times in which we live.
This is our finest hour in our witnessing for Christ. People are searching and when you talk to them about God's love, God blessing them, giving them joy and peace and happiness then Holy Spirit uses those words to touch the hearts of the listener of this Good News.
Hugh's News is reaching more than 6,000 people around the world, and some days there are from 13,000 to 14,000 people who are visiting our website: www.hughsnews.com
One of the ways you can be a vital part of the harvest is to invest in Hugh's News by praying for this newsletter and by giving financially.
I was listening to Ron Carpenter on a video the other day and he said something that got my attention. Ron made this statement: "Everything you are willing to give . . . God can and will bring as harvest."
We immediately think of the lad with a lunch his mother prepared for him when he went to see and hear Jesus. What he had were a few loaves of bread and some fish. Andrew met this lad and made friends with him. Andrew brought the lad to Jesus and the boy gave it all. The miracle of a harvest happened as Jesus blessed the bread and fish. Some 5,000 men were fed not withstanding the women and children, and there may have been 15,000 or more people who were fed. That is the miracle of the harvest.
Jesus said, "Freely you have received, freely give" (Matt 10:8, NIV). Having received gifts from God let us be free in our generosity to give what we have to God to bless others and ministries.
I want to ask you to invest in giving to Hugh's News what God would have you to give at this time. When you do you have the potential for a harvest. I know this is Income Tax time. I have sent in my taxes as I always have to pay more money, even though money has been taken out of my income. I thank God I had the money to pay my obligation to Uncle Sam or the IRS.
For those who desire to contribute to Hugh's News, Inc. you are invited to give as the Holy Spirit directs you.

As the editor I have never taken a salary for my work and ministry. I do what I do as a calling from God to bless His people.
The Scriptural Mission of Hugh's News is described in Daniel 12:3, "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever" (NIV). Our prayer is that souls will be saved and brought into the Kingdom of God. There is no other way to be saved than the Cross of Jesus. It is there we must all bow and confess our sins, repent of them, and place our trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6, NIV).
I need others like you to join with me in this mission God has given us to fulfill in the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, the Bible.
I invite you to be a partner with me to continue the publication of Hugh's News.
