Special Prayer Needs/Update
I love to pray! I need to pray! I feel His marvelous presence when I pray. I have learned to pray without ceasing; but do especially enjoy my early morning quiet time. I learned this and developed this “quiet time” at Holmes Bible College in 1971-1974. Pray with me this month! This will be our focus! “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
College Opening
We are planning to open on August 17th for Freshman Orientation. Classes should begin on August 19th. It will be the 123rd term of this historical college – the oldest, continuing operational, Pentecostal Bible college. We will open wearing face masks and observing physical distancing. We do need a miracle to open.
Special Recruiting
Pray for new students and returning students. We need full dorms (the students not only study but are our campus labor force). Bro. Bruce Hagee and I have not been able to travel to recruit students. There have been no conference and denominational camp meetings, youth camps, etc. I have had no special church services since March 15. My total traveling schedule was canceled. It would be great for all alumni to help us recruit and prayerfully find at least one new student for in-residence and/or online.

Faculty/Staff
Pray for the transition of our new Residence Director of Men, Rev. Dale Huff of Virginia. (We will give you more information later on Pastors Dale and Naomi Huff). Dale and Naomi are answers of prayer for our campus.
Cry out to the Lord for continued health for our faculty and staff. Most have responsibilities other than those at Holmes. Many of our faculty and staff are in that critical age group for COVID-19 (even the president).
Finances
In the last six weeks our donor finances and new student finances have dropped substantially. We cry out for the Lord to be Jehovah-Jireh!

Special Projects
We are nearing completion of the Flag/Memorial Project. Bricks arrived this week. This project should be done by college opening.
We hope to have the Waters Prayer Garden completed by Founder’s Week 2021. I will give more detail of this long due project later. Please pray for extra funds.
We have already raised and used $13,000 for this project. Grading and clearing have been done. Lights will be installed in July.
There are many other prayer needs; but help us focus on these for now. Thank you! Agree with me! Call His Name!
Graduation
We are planning the Spring 2020 graduation for August 22. We will be very limited on guests. Visitors are not encouraged, but Trustees and Advisory Council Members are sought out. Each graduate will be allowed no more than 4 guests.
New Video
We have a new five minute video for the College. It is excellent. We can email it to pastors and would like to do so. It will greatly help with recruiting. Brochures are also available upon request.
Condolences
We express our love and prayers to the families of Bishop Gordon McDonald of Canada and Missionary James Ward, Sr. Both these men of God were graduates of Holmes Bible College. We will miss them greatly!
Be blessed. It is time to seek the Lord!
