I have known Garry Bryant and his family for many years. When I was the senior pastor of the Richmond First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Garry and his family attended our church regularly. He was a member of the Eastern Virginia Conference staff.
Garry has been a faithful and loyal servant in every assignment in which I have known him to serve. He served with dedication and total commitment under the leadership of Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr. for 8 years, and for another 8 years under the leadership of Bishop D. Chris Thompson. Therefore, it is little wonder that God chose him and appointed his day to serve this church as the executive director of this ministry that he knows very well. God honors men who are faithful and loyal and who strive for excellence.
Garry Bryant has proven himself to be trustworthy and dedicated to the ministry of Evangelism USA. He will continue to embrace the policies he has known, and I am confident he will take this ministry to a higher level.
He is meticulous and demands more of himself than he does others. However, I believe he will expect excellence and commitment to the work and ministry of EVUSA from those who work with him on his staff.
I enjoyed my fellowship with Garry when I was the Director of Chaplains Ministries, IPHC. I always gave him a notebook I produced for every board meeting with my Chaplains Ministries Board. So, he is familiar with our military and civilian chaplaincy.
I pray that God will grant him wisdom, strength, and glowing health as well as favor with the people he serves.
