Your story about your life is important to this editor. It is a joy to publish stories about our subscribers.
It is always a joy to get new subscribers to Hugh's News. Recently Gayle Weeks Campbell became a subscriber. She is the daughter of Layton Weeks who was a member of the Richmond First Pentecostal Holiness Church when I first became the pastor. She is married to Scott Campbell, a son of the late Rev. Dr. Carl Campbell, who was one of the finest pastors and preachers I have ever known. He was the pastor of Ray of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church in Richmond.
Gayle wrote that Scott and she just moved to Tyler, TX. Scott is a CEO of a hospital nearby. She went on to tell me of their two married daughters, their husbands, and children. She wrote: "Our cup runneth over with the joy they all give us!"
Lisa Kelley Dudley of Birmingham, AL, wrote a most encouraging email to me. I have known Lisa and her family since I was the pastor of Good Shepherd Pentecostal Holiness, formerly the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Birmingham, Alabama. Here is her email:

Praying not only for Mrs. Melvine but for you and Greg as well. I was a caregiver for 15 years and cried out to the Lord many times for His help! I would say Psalm 121 often, which by the way, I memorized along with the bus kids at Good Shepherd 40+ years ago! My husband, Ron kept his great sense of humor through it all and often told me, “you got the worse, poorer, sickness part of the vows.” But, I told him he was a keeper and I wouldn’t trade places with anyone! I am trusting the Lord daily to give you His supernatural wisdom, strength, rest and peace.
Lisa's parents are Harold and Marie Green Kelley. Marie passed away a year or so ago. Lisa did a superb job speaking on behalf of her family. She has a younger sister, Kalani Kelley Garrett, who is the mother of five wonderful children.
I am eager to hear your story.
