Emmanuel College announced today that it is partnering with Barnes and Noble (BNC), a Barnes & Noble Education company, to manage all course materials, retail, and online operations for its Emmanuel College Bookstore. BNC will offer a suite of innovative programs and services to support academic success for students and faculty, in addition to delivering an expanded merchandise assortment and an engaging retail experience.
Beginning Fall 2022, Emmanuel College will offer BNC First Day® Complete, a course material delivery model that will provide all Emmanuel College students with their course materials for the term before the first day of class. The Emmanuel College Bookstore will ensure students and faculty are supported with everything they need to succeed, including the industry’s largest inventory of affordable physical and digital course materials backed by a price-match program, convenient options for ordering and receiving materials such as in-store pickup or delivery.
“Partnering with Barnes & Noble College offers great value and superb customer service for our students,” said Emmanuel President Ron White. “Enabling our students to pick up books at the beginning of the semester and return them at the end simplifies the process and enhances affordability and access for our students. Also, there will be the added convenience of having a retail outlet with supplies, clothing, and other items available. We look forward to a long and lasting relationship with BNC.”
Through First Day Complete, students enrolled in Emmanuel’s traditional on-campus programs will no longer be responsible for purchasing textbooks. Textbook rental fees will now be covered by the college.
