The Revs. Dr. and Mrs. G. Earl Beatty (Nancy) will celebrate their sixtieth anniversary on Tuesday, August 16. The couple was married by the Rev. Mr. A. H. McGhee at the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church near Blacksburg, Virginia.
The couple has been in the pastoral ministry (twenty-seven years); public school teaching combined thirty-eight years, at Emmanuel College thirty-five years and at Holmes Bible College for eight years. They were married at the age of twenty so that makes them 128 years old cumulative. Since some of the years of ministry were not concurrent, Nancy is a bit younger than that.
They have a son and a daughter (Bill Beatty and Christy Beatty Sorrow) four grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter and two great-grandsons. We are blessed.

[Editor's Comment: Let us all wish Earl and Nancy a wonderful anniversary on Tuesday. Melvine sang for their wedding, and again when they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They have been dear friends for decades, and served in pastorates in Alabama.]
