Did you sing in one of Lonnie Rex's choirs or played an instrument in his orchestra for the General Conferences, Sunday School and Youth Conventions?
Lonnie and Betty Rex would like to know how many people are still alive who participated in these musical events. They were the highlight of those special meetings.
The first Choir that Lonnie Rex conducted was in Memphis, Tennessee at the General Conference in the late 50s. Others that followed included Jacksonville, Florida, Columbia, SC, and Oklahoma City.
If you sang in the choir or played an instrument in the orchestra please send an email to Betty Rex who will keep a record of it.
Betty and Lonnie have one email address. It is: Lonnie Rex <lrrex86@gmail.com> or lrrex86@gmail.com
Many of us remember those glory days when we had a 100 voice choir and a 30 or more piece orchestra.
Thank you for your cooperation.
