I received word from Dr. Mike Stewart, former president of Emmanuel College, that Dr. C. Y. Melton has been hospitalized in a hospital in West Virginia. I do not know any of the details.
Let us pray for Dr. Melton. He, also, is a former president of Emanuel College, as well as a gifted professor and Bible teacher. He taught an adult Sunday school class at the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Chruch for many years. He was president of Emmanuel College at the same time I was president of Southwestern College. I often sought his wise counsel.
I know Dr. Melton is greatly missed in Franklin Springs.
