They reside at Highland Park Healthcare, which is an assisted living facility. Due to health complications, they are unable to drive and thus are limited in their social engagement with past friendships. They would love to hear from you, if you are former friends, acquaintances or a pastor, whether young or older. You will be the one that is blessed by making a contact with this great man of God and his wife.
As I recall Brother Belcher and Sister Sally Belcher served as missionaries to Mexico for many years. Delbert is a graduate of Southwestern College, now renamed Southwestern Christian University.
I would encourage everyone to seek out any retired pastors or missionaries, wherever you live. If they are unable to get out to socially engage with God's people, could it be that God wants you to minister to them by writing or visiting them. The Belcher's miss ministerial companionship. If you happen to be driving through Okmulgee, Oklahoma area, please consider stopping by and seeing Rev. Delbert and Sister Sally. I know they would appreciate it.
