Hugh…..your remarks about the “Frog Restaurant” in Waycross, GA brought back many memories. I pastored the Waycross Pentecostal Holiness Church for four years, from 1966 to 1970.
Thanks for the memories.

[Roland Harrell is a gifted singer, just as good or better than Eddie Fisher, and on a equal level with Jerry Vale. They were popular in the 50s and 60s. Roland is a tremendous preacher too. I was privileged to sing in a quarter with Roland Harrell, Eddie Wood, and Willard Wagner when we were students at Holmes Bible College. God blessed our ministry and through the invitation of Daneel le Roux, a school teacher who was supplying the Appomattox Pentecostal Holiness Church to help out the conference superintendent, that we went to his church for a weekend revival. It was on Saturday night that I saw Melvine Stewart for the first time and fell in love with her at first sight. Melvin Moore, Callie Moore, his wife, and Betty Von Moore their daughter and Melvine came from Draper, NC, to that service. It is amazing how God uses people and circumstances to bless us with what we need and becomes a vital part of our divine destiny.]
